What Jesus taught

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”

“Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!”

“That is how My heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.””

“And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well.””

“So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.”

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”

“Then Jesus declared, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.”

“How much more valuable is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.””

“Then should not this daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be released from her bondage on the Sabbath day?””

“But Jesus answered them, “To this very day My Father is at His work, and I too am working.””

“If a boy can be circumcised on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses will not be broken, why are you angry with Me for making the whole man well on the Sabbath?”

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

“If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two hands and go into hell, into the unquenchable fire.”

“So will it be at the end of the age: The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous”

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”

““Because you have so little faith,” He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.””

““Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.”

“And the Lord answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.”

“But Jesus overheard their conversation and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe.””

““You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.”

“Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.””

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of impurity.”

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You pay tithes of mint, dill, and cumin. But you have disregarded the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.”

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let in those who wish to enter.”

“So when you give to the needy, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.”

“You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you:”

“In the meantime, a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling one another. Jesus began to speak first to His disciples: “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.”

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

“Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.”

“For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.””

“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.”

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies.”

“Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”

“But it shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,”

“and whoever wants to be first must be the slave of all.”

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.””

“However, from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’”

“But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, brings adultery upon her. And he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.”

“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.”

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
