Privacy Policy

• Account: your email address, and your name if you choose to give it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (your name and email).
• What you create: the questions you ask the AI, and your notebooks, highlights, and notes.
• A little technical data: the IP address you signed up from (to help prevent abuse) and simple counts of how many questions have been asked (to enforce the daily free limit).

We use this information to create and secure your account, save and show you your notes and study history, answer your questions, keep the AI within its daily limits so the service stays affordable, and detect and prevent abuse. We do not use it to advertise to you.

When you ask the AI a question, we send your question to our AI providers to generate the answer and to find matching passages:

• Anthropic, which runs the Claude model that writes the answer;
• OpenAI, which turns your question into a search query to match passages in our library.

These providers process your question so we can answer it. We do not sell your questions, and we do not use them to advertise to you.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run Bubble Bible for us, and only so they can do their job:

• Railway (hosting and our database);
• Anthropic and OpenAI (the AI that answers questions and searches, described above);
• Resend (sending login and account emails);
• Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google).

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the service.

We use a small number of cookies to make the app work, not to track you across the web:

• a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in;
• a usage cookie that counts a guest's free questions for the day.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• You can view and edit your notebooks and highlights any time you are signed in.
• You can sign out to end your session on a device.
• You can delete your account and everything in it by emailing admin@bubble.bible. We will remove your data promptly.

Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text, and we use reasonable measures to protect your information. No online service is perfectly secure, though, and Bubble Bible is in beta, so please do not store sensitive personal information in your notes.

Bubble Bible is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email admin@bubble.bible and we will delete it.

As the product grows, we may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, try to tell you in the app.
