The genealogy figures. The two chains above were produced by reading the hosted ASV and Brenton chapter files, extracting the spelled-out ages in each begetting verse, and summing the chain. The English number parser calibrates on every run against a fixed set of phrasings drawn from both texts, and refuses to print any figure if a single case fails. It failed twice during this work and both figures were wrong until it was fixed, once on "lived after he had begotten Cainan, four hundred years", where the number does not follow the verb, and once where the parser was right and the expected value was wrong, because "two years after the flood" is a real figure in the verse.
The list of contested verses. It was produced by collecting, for each of the six hosted versions, the set of verse numbers each chapter file actually prints, and reporting every chapter where the sets differ. Consecutive verses with the same pattern are merged into one span. Psalm headings numbered as verse 0 account for all 119 Old Testament hits and are excluded as a numbering convention rather than a manuscript difference.
The bracket data. The double-bracket readings were produced by scanning the hosted Literal Standard Version for double-bracketed text, separating alternatives that open and close inside one verse (80 of them) from spans that run across verses (14). ⚠️ The LSV file here carries no key to the convention, so the brackets are reported as that version's own marking and no manuscript tradition is named from them.

What was not derived. The Samaritan total, the account of the Methuselah reading, the named scholars on each side and the manuscript framing all come from named reference works, the 1915 ISBE and this reference's own bible-translations synthesis, and are attributed where they appear. The Samaritan Pentateuch, the Greek New Testament manuscripts themselves and a critical apparatus are NOT held here, so no claim about which specific manuscript reads what is made here except where a named work is quoted saying it.
