What the measurement found. Across six complete English Bibles and 1,402 chapters, twenty places where they disagree about whether a verse exists, of which four are numbering. A handful more where a printed passage is marked doubtful, and a handful where a figure differs.
That is the size of it, counted rather than asserted.
What is genuinely open. Which reading of Genesis 5 and 11 is original; whether Cainan belongs in Genesis 11; whether the last twelve verses of Mark were written by Mark. These are argued by people who have spent careers on them, and this file names holders on each side rather than choosing.

What this file does not say. It does not say the Bible has been changed, and it does not say the differences do not matter. Both would be conclusions, and both are available cheaply to anyone who wants one. What is here instead is the evidence, in texts a reader can open.
